Clients brief was to purchase a productive but small lifestyle block in the Upper Hunter, NSW. Clients main profession was in medico, however there was previous experience in running livestock and cropping. A property that offered a mixture of great arable country, as well as undulating wooded grazing country with a size of 248acres. We were able to draw equity out of another residential property to provide the required cash deposit to fund this farm at 100% secured between both assets. By funding this at 100%, a number of tax advantages were enhanced and this also left the client with cash in the bank to stock the block and have cash remaining for start-up and working capital needs.
